Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized test to measure the English Language ability of non-native speakers; how well can they analyse and understand university level English. TOEFL measures ability and evaluates how well one combines Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing skills to perform academic tasks. The test is accepted by many English speaking academic and professional institutions. TOEFL is one of the most reliable and one of the widely used English language tests in the world, the other being the IELTS.

TOEFL is a trademark of the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and is administered by ETS in 130+ countries.

Students who want to study abroad take this test. Clearing this test is necessary requirement for admission into colleges / universities in countries (USA, Canada, Australia, UK, France, Germany and others). It is also a requirement to obtain visa.
